The Samsung Ch@t 335 makes texting and emailing easy. This fun messaging phone gives you fast access to what's important, including your emails, Facebook™ chat conversations, instant messenger contacts and photos.

Both simple and stylish, Ch@t 335 has a very slim, fluid design with metallic accents. Its QWERTY keys are laid out like a laptop keyboard, for a more PC-like typing experience. Want fast access to your favourite features? Program feature shortcuts into the QWERTY keyboard, e.g. 'A' for alarm clock, to get to your content in an instant.

Unlike most QWERTY messaging phones, the Ch@t 335 features multi-key support, so you can press multiple keys at once to quickly and comfortably text, IM and email on the go. There's also an optical trackpad below the bright screen that works like a mini computer mouse, making it easy to scroll through photos, menus and messages.

With social network access and push email on your phone, you can stay up-to-date and in touch with all of your favourite contacts. Ch@t 335 supports Facebook™, Facebook Chat™, MySpace™, Twitter™, Flickr® and all the most popular email accounts, as well as instant messenger clients like MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, Palringo and GTalk™. You can also use the free Bluetooth messaging service to send messages to other Bluetooth-enabled phones.

The Samsung Ch@t 335 will keep you entertained, as it has a built-in FM radio and an MP3 player, with Sound Alive technology to enhance your listening experience. You can add a microSD card, up to 8GB, and store your favourite photos, music and video clips on your phone. Listen via the built in speaker, connect your favourite headphones to the 3.5mm audio jack, or hook up a wireless Bluetooth headset for tangle-free playback.

Want to build up your music collection? The find music feature helps you to identify new songs that are being played on the radio and then easily purchase them on your phone!

The Samsung Ch@t 335 has everything you need from a messaging phone, including push email, Wi-Fi internet, a built in MP3 player and support for microSD cards up to 8GB. You also get access to the Samsung Apps Store, which is full of cool content that you can personalise your phone with.

The Samsung Ch@t 335 is a sleek, stylish messaging phone that's both fun and easy to use. If you love visiting your favourite social networks and sharing your status updates with mates, then this could be the right phone for you.

The phone had charge when i first got it out of the box, so was using it straight away. Didn't need to read the instructions because it's very straight forward to use. I absolutely love this phone. I've since given it to my boyfriend to use, and he likes it too. The battery life lasts around 5 days with not much use, which is fantastic, especially for my boyfriend who forgets to charge it. You can upload pictures straight to facebook, although this took me a while to figure out. I now have the HTC Mozart 7, but i still LOVE the Samsung Ch@t!

A mind of its own

Lovely looking phone, but I had huge problems with it. Firstly, the on/off switch was incredibly sensitive, activating at the merest inadvertent brush of the button. Secondly, the phone kept locking after five to ten seconds of inactivity. Thirdly, the scroll function on the contacts list had a mind of its own and kept sending me to 'groups / people' and other unused areas of my display. I threw it away and went back to my rickety old mobile with a dodgy battery. Shame, 'cause the phone looked really good - not put off enough to think about buying a Samsung slide in the future.

I have purchased this phone about a year ago and this phone did work as how I wanted it to be. However this phone restarts many times when I'm surfing the internet and remember it doesn't have android on it. However the battery life is go od and it has easy features to use. Also it is a good phone for a teenager and useful for emergency. But now I would like to upgrade phones.

perfect for first phone

We bought this phone mainly for text messages for our 8 yr old daughter, she had the gist of it in well under an hour. Nice to look at - we bought the fushia colour, and feels strong and sturdy, feels a lot more expensive than it was. Only grumble - she by accident ended up paying 4.50 for one of the pre loaded trial games with one click of a button, which in hind sight we should have deleted, not experienced any over sensitivity with the tracker button as others have, and the qwerty keyboard i feel is much better for younger kids all in all, a great starter phone for kids, I think the keys are a bit too small for adults though. Very Happy with phone, price and excellent service from carphone warehouse.

Good phone, nothing special

Phone is what I expected for the price, needed a cheap alternative to a blackberry torch I had for a year. It has good features like easy access to features on the home screen and battery life of a few days. Problems include loss of signal sometimes so I cant send messages unless I manually select the network (not sure if this is a problem from the service provider) and music player is over complicated for simple tasks and qwerty keyboard isn't anywhere as good as a blackberry

good basic phone

this phone is one of my first phones, and it impressed me. the battery life is fantastic it lasts for ages, weeks even. and the navigation pad is really easy to use. the phones features are as can be expected (radio camera some rubbish games, etc) and composing messages is relatively easy. the camera however, leaves something to be desired. it takes very poor quality pictures (think Lego but blockier). also the video is poor too. and dont get this phone to go on the internet, because it is slower than anything ive ever seen. it takes ages just to load the home page (yes i have full signal). overall though, it is very reliable (and rugged) it is a good starter phone for secondary school children, and i would reccomend it for anyone who was looking for a cheap phone. ;)

I brought this phone a few years back it is a good phone but also very basic, the camera and video are not to bad and its very easy to call and text on it, the battery life can be quite poorand the scroller can be a bit stif, i would recomend it to younger children who are buying their first phone or older people who dont need anything to fancy.

Being of the older generation I don't use my phone for emailing etc. I use my computer for that . I just use it for calls and texting and it's ideal for me. Very simple to use. Initially I found the keys a little on the small side but I'm used to it now and the qerty keyboard makes texting very easy. It looks a smart modern phone and I'm delighted with it. I bought it through Tesco Mobile and I think 250 minutes for £7.50 a month is a good deal.

I think it was easy to use and did not need the manual. The battery can last up to 4 or 5 days without needing charging. But on SAMSUNG APPS you pay for everything. There is nothing free. You will properly not like the phone if you are a person who likes free apps.

Good Phone:)

,05 August 2012
I've had my phone for about a year now and i like it. The price was really good and its easy to use. The cameras not very good and you can't download apps or use the internet easily but it is sort of like a cheap version of a blackberry. The only problem i have had with it is after about a month of having it the scrolly thing stopped working! but i just took it to carphone warehouse and they gave me a replacment phone for a week untill it got fixed and have no other problems since then. I would recomend this to a frend:)

For a first when I first got this phone I un-boxed it and it looked okay. About a month after I got the phone the track-pad started playing up then it just went downhill from there. Whenever I tried to access twitter it froze and the chat on Facebook didn't work either. After 9 months the phone broke down completely when I charged it, it wouldn't switch on and if it did it would turn off and start vibrating. I just decided to buy a more reliable phone, the Blackberry Curve 8520.

Ok, let's start by saying that this phone is OK. It isn't the best though... For someone young it is ok in this day and age you want something a bit more than this. For youngsters, as a starter phone, ok fine, but I would not reccommend this phone to adults. It has wifi but I have had a few problems with it. After a year with this phone I am upgrading. The price is ok though I guess...
