Worst product I have ever bought, followed instructions and have lots of experience with vinyl stickers, It fits like a glove on your foot, clear lines showing on face of tablet, lots of waste material on back of tablet very unsightly, ended up throwing it in bin, sent e-mail complaint to Zagg who produced this , no response, bought this for my sons Nexus 7 suppose to be for this specific model, money down the drain

First of all it doesn't fit the appliance! The length is OK but it's 2 to 3mm narrower! The cut-outs for cameras and sensors are difficult to remove and very fiddly. Your screen needs to be absolutely spotless before you apply the shield. I thought mine was, but a couple of specks of dust were caught and with the plastic shield over them looked quite noticeable. I removed the shield (easy to do) and cleaned the screen again. Reapplied the shield, and it was even worse! Problem: dust stuck to the shield not the screen! Impossible to remove because the shield is sticky!
You need to wet BOTH sides of the shield in order to be able to squeegee it down (rubbery squeegee supplied). However, if the surface of the shield dries out and you're still trying to squeegee out the air bubbles, the squeegee wil actually mark the screen! Mine now has a couple of "rubber burns" on it which I can't remove. The shield is also most definitely "orange peel" texture. Having said that, it's not noticeable in use, only when it's switched off and you have a uniform black screen.
On the plus side, it's very thin, and it doesn't show greasy fingerprints anything like a naked screen. Also, there are absolurely NO air bubbles in it - they all totally disappear.
To sum up, my biggest disappointments are
1. It doesn't fit!
2. Tiny specks of dust/grit which might settle on the adhesive on the shield are impossible to remove.
3. It was very easily marked (permanently) by the supplied rubbery squeegee.
I bought 2 shields at the same time, the other one for a Galaxy phone. Had the same problems. I don't have any experience of other shields, but am seriously disappointed with these.

Zagg InvisibleShield for Nexus 7
Argumentative
,15 August 2012
Far too finicky. Its probably just the nature of the product and the screen real estate of a tablet, even a smallish one like the 7 but it was a mighty struggle to align it and I failed miserably.
It could also be me but I'm not reviewing anyone else's ability to apply it and my attempt was not a success and left me frustrated.
I received the product in a day, the packaging was professional and the components of obvious high quality. Instructions were clear I just failed in their application.
