good phone reliable had mine for 18months abit slow now but still works well would deffiantly reccomend this phone. battery life is poor which i think is due to my apps and the usage of my phone. Absolutely marvellous ! I had a wonderful,surprise on my birthday, I love using the apps on it as well as the phone ! Can fully recommend :o) I am elderly and yet I find it easy to use....so can recommend it to everyone no matter what age ! Love all I phones wouldn't go on any other phone now I have been using I phones for about a year before that I had a blackberry the battery life isn't brilliant on I phones. Ive had this for around about 8 months now, i got it free on contract on three. It has given me no problems whatsoever, always had a signal and its never crashed. I used to have a nokia n95 and this iphone beats it hands down. Even down to the audio side, even though the nokia was good on that the iphone is great. Very loud speaker on it aswel as the headspeaker both being very loud. Very easy to use with a great interface system. Its is stunning, the battery last about two days which is about the same as my old nokia, thing is my iphones does so much more. Everyone should have one of these, they do everything, i can watch tv on it, play music, surf the web, games (proper games, i.e GTA3, not snake lol) photos, videos you name it, it does it all. Steve jobs is a legend for bringing this to the world and it really does change everything. This is the only phone anyone would never need, well done apple. I've had this phone sinc Christmas and it's a pain. It keeps losing it's signal. I was stood next to someone with aan iphone4 and she was chatting away and my phone said no service and we're on the same network!! iPhone 3GS 8GB may not be the newest handset on the block, but it’s still a capable device that compares favourably to other phones in its price range. Many people prefer the curved back design over the sharper angles of the iPhone 4 and 4S, and the touchscreen is sharp and bright. You won’t get masses of power out of the 600MHz processor, but it’s possible to run several applications at once. This isn’t a device for photography fans - the 3MP camera lens lacks flash for taking photos in low light conditions, and there is no front-facing camera for video calls. Because the iPhone is a sealed unit, the battery is inaccessible. Investing in a charging case or portable charger, dimming the screen a few notches and turning off Wi-Fi/location services/Bluetooth when you don’t need them will help bolster the pretty average usage time you’ll get from the 1219 mAh L-ion battery. The iPhone 3GS runs iOS5, the same software that the iPhone 4 and 4S use, so it largely boasts the same features as the newer, pricier models. Noticeable by their absence are Siri, an iPhone 4S exclusive feature, and FaceTime, which takes a back seat due to the lack of a front-facing camera. You do get Apple’s iMessage service for free communication to other iOS devices over the internet, plus iCloud, which can automatically back up your contacts and photos over the internet without needing to connect your phone to a computer. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this phone, in fact I love everything apple but if you want an iPhone I would recommend the 8gb iPhone 4 as the screen is far superior, faster and all around better.
